McLane Theater – Seussical Jr.!
Mark your calendars for McLane Theater during the month of February! For all families interested in McLane Theater this year, please register your child starting 1/12/2026. We are also looking to encourage students in 4th or 5th grade who may not want to perform to join our Stage/Set Crew team or Tech Team. There will be something for everyone in this show!
Rehearsals begin on February 2 – 28, 2026. Grades 3-5 will rehearse on Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri from 2:15 – 4:30PM (15 mins snack/settle). Grades K-2 will rehearse Wednesday from 1:25 – 2:30PM. The shows will be on February 27th and 28th.

Effective communication is essential for student and school success. Olympia School District uses ParentSquare, a tool designed to enhance family engagement and communication. It keeps families informed and fosters connections, providing a safe platform for families and students to interact.
OSD families will continue to receive district and school communications via robocall, email, and text regardless of whether or not they register for ParentSquare. Registering in ParentSquare will allow:
- Access to historical communications
- Ability to edit and update communication preferences
- Ability to update family contact information
- Access to additional communication features as they are announced
The ParentSquare app has a familiar design, similar to a social media feed. It also allows families to send and receive information in their preferred languages.

The Olympia School District uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage our parents to access their accounts so they can
download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
